Itoh Dining by NOBU

Sat at the bar and ordered the wagyu prix fix. The chef cooked the meat at the flat top grill right in front of us. Food was delicious. Service was great. Definitely worth the visit if you are in the area.

Phenonenal restaurant in a place where you wouldn't expect great fine dining. Attentive and friendly service, refined but casual ambience and fantastic dishes. Highly recommended!

Really really good food. You don't get much but what you get is amazing. It is on the pricey side but worth the price you pay. Staff are friendly even to foreigners. If you are a large group you may have issues getting a seat without a booking.

In and within 70 minutes for 8 courses. No time to breath between courses. Good, but nowhere near as good as Haifuu in Kyoto and a lot more expensive.

I had the lunch set menu of seafood and beef combo. The food was Nobu standard and price was decent.

My wife had a food gasm, can't recommend enough. Make sure you make a "Reservation" to not be disappointed!!!

The ambiance is fantastic, yet it falls short of the food. The steak was beyond any I've had before. The staff was relaxed in delivery, but deliberate in preparation. This is worth the time. I just wish it hadn't ended so soon.

Expected a lot, especially with the money we paid, but where not really happy afterwards. Felt unpersonal, unfriendly and rushed. We only had a wow moment with the delicious beef and the dessert :)

One of the best meals I've ever had! The food was amazing and I highly recommend the fois gras as an add on. The A5 sirloin and fillet combo was definitely worth the money. The service was great too!

Good atmosphere, selective but good and professional staff

This was in the top 5 meals I've had in my whole life, and for under £100 for two five course lunches and a glass of wine. Unbelievable ingredients, prepared in front of you, and the steak is absolutely incredible. Highly, highly recommend.

We stopped here for lunch during our trip in Japan. I’m a big fan of Nobu but in NY. it was a great experience for me to be in first time in Itoh Dining by Nobu and first time in Japan. We ordered their lunch set. Wagyu and Kobe dishes. it must sound crazy but I barely eat meat but this one was very top quality meat ! The tenderness, fatty and flavor = best quality beef I ever had ! Great atmosphere! Good service !!!

Awesome steak cooked perfectly in front of you. Fish was nice too. Chilled atmosphere.

Definitely do not recommend for vegetarians, the food is wildly overpriced, not to mention that the vegetable soup was made with fish broth and tasted like warm water with a couple tomatoes, and an asparagus.... yum! Safe to say I was disappointed, and will not be returning. Had high expectations for Nobu...

Great experience. The beef was perfectly cooked and service was great. Even the salad was outstanding. Loved it !

Best food in Hakkone. Teppaniaki highly recommended.

This place was utterly laughable compared to other Nobu properties I've visited. The server had body odor that was noticed every time he cleared a plate. He forgot an initial order of sake for the group. The sauces were cold. The appetizers in the combination dinner were tiny and bland. The chef overcooked the A5 waygu. Most notably, it lacked the fun, engaging atmosphere at which all other Nobu establishments excel. A dismal waste of time and money. Would of enjoyed Benihana more.

The only reason I'm giving this restaurant a 2 star is because of the wine.. (which says alot about the restaurant)I was so looking forward to finally dining at a Nobu restaurant, and what better place than in Haokone.But unfortunately I was truly dissapointed. From bad service (where the waiter didn't even put water in our glass) to mediocre food for high prices. I'd rather have stayed in my hotel and dined there. Oh and did I mention a big cockroach coming out of the kitchen, under our table, and into the terrace? I would say skip this place if you are used to fine dining.

Nobu is always a good idea. This place is absolutely fantastic! I love meat chopped meat dish and green tea cake with ice cream here. And if you come with children, they have a simple pasta option. The ambiance is so beautiful and unique.

I honestly didn't have huge expectations coming here, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxed, the staff was friendly and polite and, most importantly, the food was really excellent. We ordered the menu and every course was a delight. Even the beer we had before the meal was brewed by our chef and tasted incredible.

The meal here is excellent - Michelin star standard. There is teppan set or non teppan. We recommend the non teppan and go for the wagyu beef. Upsized the steak if preferred. We tried this place for dinner on first night of arrival at hakone.

Very high value for money. Atmosphere is ok only though.
